The LSU Center for GeoInformatics needs your support. Every gift will make a difference and will bring visible progress to LSU C4G. Many LSU alumni and friends have extended their generous support and contributed to a wide variety of programs across our campus, including taking a leadership role in the hurricane recovery and relief effort. LSU Center for GeoInformatics has played and is playing a paramount role as the Gulf Coast continues to recover. Please consider supporting C4G, as they are vital to the future of our great State.

A priority of the LSU Foundation is to build the University’s endowment to provide reliable resources for the future. Our core belief is that LSU C4G research will provide the necessary understanding and education the foundation for the training and technology transfer that will enable Louisiana to excel and prosper. To this end, the first order of business for the C4G was to establish GULFNet as a tool of study and service and develop a center of expertise to exploit it.

Instructions for Donating to C4G Through the LSU Foundation

To Donate Online:

Visit lsufoundation.org/give.

Select the “GIVE NOW” button to get to the Donate form.

1. Fill in the amount you wish to donate to C4G.
2. Since C4G isn’t on the drop down list, go to the bottom and select “Other”
3. In the box that appears type “Center for GeoInformatics Development Fund.” or the word “GeoInformatics” which will also direct the funds to C4G’s account.
4. Even though a search for “Center for GeoInformatics Development Fund.” won’t produce any results, as long as “Center for GeoInformatics Development Fund.” or the word “GeoInformatics” is entered in the box, the funds will be directed to C4G’s account. 

To Donate by Check:

Any checks received for deposit to an LSU Foundation account should be written payable to LSU Foundation.
Please write checks payable to LSU Foundation and note in the memo line or elsewhere that the gift is for the benefit of the Center for Geoinformatics.
