When configuring the TOP app, there is a section called “report customization” right at the bottom.
You will notice a greyed out box that has written in it the word “CompanyLogo.JPG” – you need to save your current company logo with exactly the same name and place it in the following folder : C:\Program Files (x86)\Trimble\Trimble Pivot Platform\Container, replacing the default logo in there.
If you are running a TDE with the DB Server on a different machine from Pivot Web, you will need to save your current company logo with exactly the same name “CompanyLogo.jpg” and place it in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Trimble\Trimble Pivot Platform\Container folder replacing the CompanyLogo.jpg file on the server running the TDE’s DB Server.
Notes on tweaking the TOP App UI look and feel
If you have a backup of the following files, you can find the colors and text changes in them to modify the new files that replaced the originals. The reason you wouldnt want to just replace the new files with the old ones is because Trimble may have added new features that use these files and the new info wont be in the old files and you could break the new site by simply replacing the files.
TOP App header logo is found in:
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\TrimblePivotWeb\PluggableWeb\Plugins\PivotWebLayout\Content\images
The filename for new image needs to be: TrimbleLogo.jpg
The header link to “Trimble Pivot Web” can be changed to “C4GNet Web Portal” in the resource file Translations.resx located in:
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\TrimblePivotWeb\PluggableWeb\Plugins\PivotWebLayout\Language
The body text and the “Welcome to the Trimble Online Processing service” text can be changed to “Welcome to the C4GNet Online Processing service.” it two places in the resource file Translations.resx located in:
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\TrimblePivotWeb\PluggableWeb\Plugins\OPP\Language\Translations.resx
TOP App color changes are made in the CSS files bootstrap-pivotweb.css and shell-pivotweb.css found in: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\TrimblePivotWeb\PluggableWeb\Plugins\PivotWebLayout\Content

It might be a good idea to save an additional copy of the C4G report header with a different name as Trimble updates overwrite our logo and it’s hard to find the C4G TOP Report header graphic as it is much larger than the web page header that looks the same but the web site hearer is 676 x 100 pixels and the one needed for the report is 2655 x 393 pixels. Attached is a copy of the bigger one for you to use on other TDE’s.
